Day 17 - Adding Icing to the Donut

Today, I learned how to use modifiers to make a semi-good looking icing on a donut. Firstly, I learned that using the hotkeys on the keyboard can change the perspective. This is helpful because how I'm going to make the icing is slice the top half off of the donut and put it on top of the donut.

Secondly, I figured out that by doing Shift + D on your keyboard you can duplicate a selected area, and with this selected area using P you can make it into it's own object. And finally, I added a modifier that increased the icing's thickness to make it look more like icing.

And that is all! Tomorrow I will be giving the donut the appearance of icing dripping off of it.
